Prisms don't have that problem but can be slightly less bright. Image in a waist level finder is reversed left to right, which makes it difficult to follow a moviing subject and you have to think backwards in your head as to what the final picture will look like. Either a waist level or prism finder is fine for most work. you just have to be sure of what is included when someone is selling one used.
Your first one is usually bought as a kit including all four pieces. The camera body, film magazine, lens and viewfinder are all separate pieces.
Does that price include a lens, viewfinder and film magazine? MF SLRs like the Bronica or Hasselblad or Mamiya are "modular" design.
